The Friends understand and value the unique role that Illinois Humanities Council (IHC) plays in the state -- bringing people together to reflect, think critically, and actively exchange ideas in their own neighborhoods and communities. Their gifts help us provide opportunities for intellectual renewal and civic dialogue, for all Illinoisans, regardless of their age, ethnicity, education, or geographic location.
